Melbourne Avalon Airport (AVV) is a rapidly expanding domestic terminal currently servicing passengers from Jetstar Airways and Sharp Airlines.
Located on the Princess Freeway, the main thoroughfare between Melbourne and Geelong, Avalon Airport affords easy access to Victoria's two main cities as well as the beautiful tourist destinations of Great Ocean Road, Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast.
Trains depart every half hour from Lara Station, a short taxi ride away, and take 15 minutes to reach Geelong. 45 minutes in the opposite direction lands you in Melbourne's CBD. Daily buses shuttle between the airport and Southern Cross Coach Station in Melbourne and there are over 900 secure car parks with low cost hourly rates.
